Day 59: Catch-up

A quiet day at the campground...washed the kids, clothes and even the outside of the camper! We've attached a few photos from yesterday at the quarry and Ben and Jerry's, as well as a couple shots of new friends here at Limehurst Lake Campground.

a side shot of the quarry; in the distance is the dig site from the 1840s, more recent digging at the left and a glimpse of the current hole at right.

Sand blasting...had a blast

Bowling on a granite lane using a rubber bowling ball

Flavor Graveyard...very funny headstones about each one.

Big boys, "Baby" and "Lordy," who required a belly-scratch before we could enter the campground office.
One of our neighbors. He carves bears and other creatures out of logs and is sponsored by Stihl. This bear is now a permanent fixture at the campground. We had so much fun watching it take shape.

Finally got the shot!
