Day 20: A Day of Play

The Indianapolis Children's Museum is incredible, and we spent a few happy hours merely scratching the surface of its activities. We visited Egypt and rode a crocodile in the Nile; worked at the dig site of terracotta warriors in China; explored the age of the dinosaurs; drove a train; and operated heavy equipment in a construction site. The museum was amazing in how it accomodated all ages in every exhibit...so much creativity in one place. It was 94 degrees outside when we headed for home at 3:30; a great day to be indoors. We're so glad we squeezed in our canoe and hiking excursions before this heat wave hit (actually, we experienced a cold front a few days ago...today's temp is the norm).

I'll keep it short and post more photos. Keep your messages and questions coming...they mean more than you can imagine!
